The company has more than two decades of expertise in designing, manufacturing and supplying sustainable rooftop drainage solutions. The company is widely credited with pioneering the blue roof concept in the UK, with a landmark early project at the University of Huddersfield. Since then, ABG has supplied over one million square metres of blue roof drainage systems to projects across the UK and internationally.
ABG Building Solutions produces more than 2.5 million square metres of drainage products annually at its West Yorkshire facility. ABG is accredited to ISO quality management accreditations and is a member of several industry bodies, including CIRIA, the Green Roof Organisation and BALI.

Extensive green roofs can retain up to 80% of annual rainfall, helping achieve SuDS compliance and the creation of sustainable urban environments. Intensive green roof systems accommodate deeper substrates suitable for a wider range of planting and landscaped rooftop spaces.
